A Medical Assistance & Equipment Loan Program offered by Goodwill Easterseals of the Gulf Coast (Mobile) provides financial assistance to individuals with disabilities for the purchase of medical supplies, adaptive equipment, devices, environmental modifications, or services.
The We Share program provides equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and personal care items, available at no cost, with limited funding from the Alabama Department of Rehab (STAR program). Medical equipment is available for anyone at all our retail stores (ask a cashier, items subject to availability).
The Medical Assistance program provides financial assistance to people with disabilities for the purchase of medical supplies, adaptive equipment, devices, environmental modifications, or services which would lead to an improved quality of life and greater independence. Eligibility is based on evidence of need and is subject to availability of funding.
